Reaching out into our communities is vital to our organization, developing relationships with community leaders, media, school faculty and local civic groups can greatly assist each post in achieving the VFW mission. It is also important self-development for our members. In addition to post activities many of our members involve themselves in volunteer activities that of personal interest. No amount of selfless service is too little.

 

At a national and regional level VFW posts are recognized and honored for the level of involvement of their posts and membership.
