And you have plenty of any recurring medications.Personal: Make sure you have appropriate rain gear available. It can still get cold sometimes! Keep a felt, or similar, liner available and know the signs for hypothermia. Some emergency hand warmers, gloves, and a thermos of something warm and non-alcoholic would be a good back-up!
Vehicle: Make sure your vehicle emergency equipment is up to snuff! Flares, panels, emergency tire refill, spare/spare equipment all in working order.Power: Make sure you are prepared for power outages (you might want to keep plenty of ice in the freezer and have a small ice chest available to temporarily store heat sensitive medications). Put a charger cord in your car - think of your car as a back-up generator. You might invest in a solar battery charger or phone charger.Remember that old Boy/Girl Scout Motto!
